Why Slate Earns Its Keep in Taney County

Slate is about as tough as roofing gets, and that matters near the lake where the weather never sits still. It shrugs off ice, heavy branches, and thick summer humidity while other roofs give out early. Well-set slate roofing in Hollister, MO, keeps water out and adds real curb appeal to your property. We match the stone to your building so the finish looks natural and holds firm for decades.

About Us

OUR STORY

Jon Abernathy got this outfit going back in 2001 as a one-man operation, leaning on roofing know-how his dad and granddad handed down. His way of treating folks fairly and doing careful work grew that small start into a full-service firm.

These days, people know us as a trusted name, and we’re proud of the mark we leave on the Ozarks towns we call home.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Called Abernathy for a service call after noticing leaks following several recent storms. We weren’t sure if the damage was storm-related or simply due to the age of our roof. Chris Martinez came out, thoroughly inspected our attic, the interior areas where we were seeing water intrusion, and the roof itself.

Chris was courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. We appreciated that he understood we were hoping the damage was storm-related and might qualify for an insurance claim. He never made us feel like we were inconveniencing him or dismissed our concerns. Instead, he took the time to explain the claims process, answered all of our questions, and even plans to meet with our insurance adjuster during their inspection. That level of service and support gave us a lot of confidence throughout the process. We highly recommend Chris and Abernathy.
